Coweta Frogs (Middle School 4-H Club)First Tuesday of each Month

The Coweta Frogs is a 4-H club for 6th through 8th graders. At each meeting the group will explore new 4-H competitions, work on leadership skills, and plan new community service projects. Each meeting lasts
for approximately 1-1/2 hours and includes students from any of the five Coweta middle schools, homeschoolers and private schools. Meetings follow the school calendar and will meet on the FIRST Tuesday of each month at the Coweta Extension Office, 255 Pine Road, from 7 pm until 8:30 pm. Zoo Keeper for a DaySaturdays Year Round
All Day

Teens and adults over the age of 14 with a love for animals can spend a day helping zookeepers with their daily routines of food preparation, cleaning and animal care. Don't miss your chance to bathe an elephant, meet a lion, or feed an otter! Whether you're considering a career in zookeeping or have always wanted to spend some time with your favorite animal, this exclusive behind-the-scenes program is a once in a lifetime experience. Program runs from 8am 3:30pm for Elephants and Warthogs or 8am - 4pm for Zoo's Australian Outback. Programs are offered on Saturdays year-round. Registration fee: $225 for members, $275 for non-members. Registration fee includes Keeper for a Day behind-the-scenes activities, Zoo admission, lunch, t-shirt, photo, and career information.
