Powers Crossroads Country Fair and Arts Festival is acclaimed as one of the outstanding events of its kind in North America. The Powers' Crossroads Festival gates are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily Saturday through Monday, Labor Day Weekend. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and military personnel, $3 for children ages 5-12 and free for children age 4 and under. Free parking is available with free shuttle bus to the main gate. Powers' Crossroads is located on Georgia Highway 34, about 12 miles west of Newnan. Children are entertained in a special children's park area with adult supervision.

The 5th Annual Fall Festival at Heritage Park features local crafts, food and music. Bring the whole family for hayrides, costume contests, pumpkin carving, and Trick-or-Treating through the Historic Village.

| Halloween Classic Family Fun Run | October 25th

Newnan Running Club's Halloween Classic 1 mile fun run/5k race. Come run in costume. There will also be a children's activity section. The event will be held at BT Brown Resevoir Water Plant Lamar Smith Road in Newnan, GA. Proceeds benefit The Newnan Running Club and CORRAL.
