Fayette A.C.E.S. which stands for autism coaching education and support meets through sponsorship of the Peachtree City Library, 201 Willowbend Road on the last Sunday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m. Children are welcome. People who are interested in learning more about autism, sharing knowledge or who need support with autism are welcome.

Free Parenting Workshop - How to Stay Out of Power Struggles With Children

John Roope, M.Ed. is a parent, stepparent, foster parent, and educator who has worked professionally with children and families for over twenty six years. As a presenter, John delivers useful information in a lively package. This workshop provides practical strategies and language for diffusing and preventing power struggles while building relationships with children. Help children become partners in the process of learning to control their own behavior. Ideal workshop for parents, foster parents, grandparents raising grandchildren, educators, social workers, church leaders and other professionals who work with children.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. Mocha Moms	2nd & 4th Mondays Moms-Only 2nd Sat.
Mocha Moms of Fayette County is a support group for stay-at-home mothers. Group meetings are on the second and fourth Mondays of the month and moms-only activities are held on the second Saturdays. Mocha Moms, Inc. is a support group for mothers of color who have chosen not to work full-time outside of the home in order to devote more time to their families. Mocha Moms serves as an advocate for those mothers and encourages the spirit of community activism within its membership.
